Born in Colombia and based in Costa Rica, Elizabeth Caballero conceptual artist whose passion and creativity have left an indelible mark on the art world. With a profound respect for nature and a unique sensitivity, my work start rescuing pieces of wood from the dry forest, transforming them into sculptures that preserve the history and original shapes of each fragment.
My work began in the aftermath of Hurricane Nate, an event that marked the start of an artistic journey filled with meaning and resilience. Since then, i have created over 400 pieces, each celebrating natural beauty and telling the hidden stories within the grain of the wood.
